Antioch Swim Pool was the first pool in the city and built in 1939 after the tragic drowning deaths of children in the San Joaquin River. Eighty-three years later, Solar Swim & Gym continues to emphasize the importance of learning how to swim.
We’ve proudly taught thousands of residents in Antioch and surrounding cities how to swim.
Group Lessons
Children love our group lessons. They get a chance to make new friends while learning to swim. Learning has never been so fun!
Group lessons meet on either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays or Saturday and Sunday for 8 classes. The determination of what day/s your child attends is based on their age and swimming abilities.
There’s an annual registration fee of $20 for each student per year. If you’re signing up multiple students, please add each of them under the parent/guardian profile first when creating your account. You can then purchase the swim lesson sessions for each child through each student profile. Or you can give us a call at (925) 757-7412 to register.

Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-private lessons are a great way for couples, siblings, or best friends to learn how to swim together. Our instructors provide focused, individualized teaching to improve skills and boost confidence, while having fun. It’s a great way to learn!
We Do Adult Lessons Too!
Swimming isn’t just for kids! If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to swim, now is your time. It’s never too late to learn how to swim. Swimming is great for older adults and can prolong life. It will make your heart stronger, larger and improve your cardiovascular health and endurance. Plus, swimming is gentle on the joints.
