Why Party at Solar?

Solar Swim & Gym is pleased to offer a spacious, quiet area for you to host parties for all your special events. When you party at Solar Swim, you get access to a large outside area, including a picnic area complete with benches, picnic tables, a gazebo and BBQ area as well as access to our heated outdoor pool, basketball court, table tennis, barbeque grill, bluetooth speaker, child pool and play area, trampoline, and outdoor grass lounge area. And to truly it make it memorable, you can make it your own with your own decorations, so your celebration is a reflection of you from top to bottom and beginning to end.

We offer tables and chairs upon request, and you’re welcome to bring in food from outside the club.

Party Rental FAQ

How can I book/reserve my party?

Call us at 925-757-7412 to check the availability.

Do you require a deposit to reserve the space?

We ask for a $150 deposit with $25 application fees to reserve the space. The $150 deposit will go toward your event cost.

Do we need to know the exact headcount of the guests for the party?

No. We don’t require exact headcount when you reserve the date. The actual guests will be counted the day of the party so that you only pay for guests that attended to your party.

How many people are included in the rental?

Up to 20 guests are included in your hourly rental.

How much does each additional guest cost?

After the first 20 guests, each guest costs an additional $9. After 35, it becomes $8 per person. And after you bring 50 guests, we charge only $7 for each additional guest.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Feel free to bring any and all food and drinks for your event, but please note that alcohol is not allowed, as are glass bottles. Our refrigerator space is limited, so you may need to bring your own coolers, depending on your food and drinks. No eating or drinking is allowed in the pool or around the pool deck.

Can I bring my own services/entertainers/performers?

Yes, we love entertainment! But please inform us in advance so we can make any necessary preparations. Because we’re in a residential area, we ask that you be considerate of our neighbors and keep the entertainment family-friendly and at a low volume.

Can I set up canopies/tents/tables/etc.?

Yes, as long as everything is set up within the party rental area. You can set it up yourself or, for an extra charge, we’re happy to help you.

What is the check-in process for guests?

Guests must check in at the front counter, directly past the front entrance, and sign a liability waiver. Minors must have a parent or guardian sign for them. If a person is staying at the party and not simply dropping off guests/supplies, they must sign a waiver to stay at our facility.

Who can swim in the pool?

People who are comfortable treading water may play in up to the 3 ft. section of the pool. Small children who can’t tread water must stay where the water is waist-deep. People who can pass a swim test from one end of the pool to the other may swim in the deep end of the pool.

Is the rental private? Will we get sole access to the pool?

Your party area will be private and includes the family swim side (the non-lap lanes) of the pool. There are three lap lanes that may be accessible to your party as long as there are no Solar Swim members or lessons students swimming in those lanes.

Can my guests and I use the whole facility?

You and your guests are free to use the reserved section of the pool, the entire picnic area, the children’s play area, the basketball court, and the grass field for your party. The gyms, hot tub, sauna, and outdoor cross functional fitness area are available only to our members.

Is there anything that we can’t bring to Solar Swim & Gym?

Things to leave at home include: Floatation devices, glass bottles, alcohol, and any smoking or vaping products.

Can I smoke in the facility?

Solar Swim & Gym is a smoke- and vape-free zone.

When the time slot for our party ends, how long do we have to leave the facility?

Guests must pack up and leave no more than 15 minutes after the party hours end. If the guests have not left after 15 minutes, we may charge for an extra hour. We suggest beginning to clean and pack up 30 minutes before the party’s end time to prevent being charged.

Can I bring a bouncy house?

Yes. There will be an extra $70 charge for electricity.

Can I rent the whole pool for private party?

Yes. If you want to host a private party and want to rent out the whole pool, it is $300 per hour. One lifeguard is included in the rental. Advance request is required.

Party Rental Pricing

3 hours minimum (each additional hour is $90/hr). 20 people are included with $90/hr rental. Please see below for additional guest rate.

Deposit of $150 required for reservation. Any cancellation must be received by us in writing, 3 months prior to the scheduled event for 100% return of deposit, minus a $25 handling fee. A change of party date has a rescheduling fee of $25.

Application fees of $25.

• 21-35 people ……. $9 per person
• 36-50 people ……. $8 per person
• 51-75 people ……. $7 per person
• Lifeguard ………… $20/hr (required for parties with more than 25 people)
• BBQ ……………….. $10/hr
