About Us

Since 1939, Solar Swim & Gym has been Antioch's home for family fitness, and three generations later, we're still doing what we've always done best: welcoming every member of the family, at every age and every ability, and making sure they feel like they belong here. Because they do.

Under one roof, you'll find swim lessons, aquacise, club memberships, basketball, fitness classes, kids' camps, and party rentals. What really sets us apart, though, is how much room we give families to grow. We believe practice makes progress, so our members get pool access between lessons to keep building on what they've learned. Confidence doesn't happen in a single class, it happens over time, and we want to be there for all of it.

We're honored to be an authorized vendor for the Regional Center of the East Bay, welcoming children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, sensory processing differences, ADHD, and many others right alongside our neurotypical members, in the same classes, the same pool, the same community. We're also proud partners with several local charter homeschool networks, building fitness and PE programming around what homeschool families actually need.
